So this Madeleine McCann thing ...
MUCH EXCITEMENT this week as Maddy's parents release a picture of her as she would look now, two years after her disappearance from a Portugese holiday apartment while they were on the piss with their friends in a nearby tapas bar. Which makes me think: how long are they going to keep this up? If their strategy of keeping the story in the public eye continues, we can expect similar updated pictures every couple of years. What happens in 2021 when she would have been 18? An appearance on Page 3 of The Sun? A topless photoshoot in Nuts? The mind boggles.
And meanwhile a new suspect emerges, a gippo market trader identified by a photofit sketch in a Channel 4 documentary. I publish the picture above, with no comment at all about the one alongside it.

not only did the McCann's try & dig up a new suspect from the files for their documentary...
but the Portuguese police questioned and eliminated him from their enquiries... a man called Michael Green.
The McCann's stories are getting more desperate the nearer they get to being found out.
So glad you put this on your blog. Unfortunately this little mocumentary was a laughing stock. I feel for the people of Portugal who have to put up with invasion of the bodysnatcers.. McCann and Mitchell. Oh!Well more money in the fund..If you are gullible enough to believe this charade..

It's called keeping the dream (or the myth) alive. The twins will be leaving Christmas presents under the tree for Madeleine when they are in their twenties, if the parents have anything to do with it.

But this new 'photofit' bears no resemblance to the witness descriptions of the man seen. They girl described him as having short hair....1 cm long! So why is the portrait showing a headfull of hair?
Anyway, the man had ALREADY been traced and eliminated in 2007! (by the PJ)
His name is Micheal Anthony Green.
He should sue the programme makers for implying he is a child abductor!

I've been reading Bazza's column for well over 8 years now, and have always enjoyed the mordant wit, sarcasm, and satirical swipes at a variety of targets. The column used to be full of biting comments about politicians, council jobsworths, scammers, porridge wogs and politically correct one-legged black Lesbians. You could always rely on Bazza for a great story, whether it was Mrs B's latest madness or Whittaker's escapades - not forgetting the famous Xmas Stilton.
Sadly, something happened after he was kicked out at the York Post, because the posts since then have been universally dull, uninteresting, or even [dare one say it] gratuitously offensive. Have a go at the Police, confused old folk, lorry driving mass murderers and the obese Poveratti if you like, but PLEASE try and make it amusing. The implications about the McCann documentary and the criticism of the family is really beyond the pale, though. Rank poor journalism,riddled with innuendo, unsubstantiated half truths and just plain tasteless. [and no, i don't get a bung from the Maddie people, since you ask]We all know that the CIA shot JFK with several assassins, and that the "moon landings" were staged in the Arizona desert, don't we? The latest posts from Bazza seem to have spawned a whole new generation of inarticulate, unintelligent nutty anonymous bloggers with little to say except repeat conspiracy theories - testament to the new audience, eh?
It grieves me to say so, but I think that poor old Bazza has "lost the plot" and should retire gracefully before he makes himself look even more ridiculous. Not that it will concern anyone, but I shall certainly not bother reading the column any more - The Daily Mash and Guido Fawkes are SOOO much more interesting.
